Ingredient List
- 385 g tin apple slices (see Tip)
- 410 g tin red cherry fruit filling
For the topping
- 12 Nature Valley™ Crunchy Oats & Honey Snack Bars, roughly crushed
- 75 g plain flour
- 100 g unsalted butter, melted
- 25 g flaked almonds
To serve
- Your favourite Liberte´ Yogurt
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 4. Mix the apple slices and cherry pie filling in a 2-litre ovenproof baking dish.
- Stir together the crushed granola bars, flour and butter in a mixing bowl until crumbly. Stir in the almonds. Sprinkle evenly over the fruit.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the fruit is bubbling and piping hot. Serve hot or cold with scoops of ice cream or spoonfuls of yogurt.
Tips
-
To easily crush the granola bars with a rolling pin, pound the unopened pouches until the bars are broken into smaller pieces.
You can use fresh apple slices instead of tinned. Simply peel, core and slice 3-4 eating apples.
